Things to do with straight hair?

My hair is so straight. I straighten it so it's even more straight for special occasions. But I hate my hair! It just lays there. I REALLY want wavy hair, but idk how to so it. I tried curling it, but it went inwards and looked bad! I do t have alot of time on school moorings. What can I do so it isn't boring? I grew out my bangs. And don't give me examples like put it in a pony tail. I do that evry day!
