Hacked psp games run slowly?

I hacked my psp 2000 and put final fantasy VII on it and it ran perfectly last night it started playing slower so what might be the problem also im using 6.35 pro so i have to do custom firmware recovery evry time i reset my psp And its not just final fantasy my snes emulator runs slower too
